The Round of 16 took place today in the Giffnock Open Womens & Mens Tournaments.

Womens Open Semi-Finals - Results

Francesca Simpson [8] made it to tomorrws final defeating Alice Brook in two sets (6-0, 6-2). She will face Tia Bonita Jakupovic-Kljako who overcame Amelie Brooks by the same score. Francesca and Tia will meet in tomorrows Final at 12:00 which will be streamed live on our YouTube Channel.

Mens OpenSemi-Finals - Results

The Mens SemiFinals both went to 3 sets, Last years winner and top seed Ewan Moore went out narrowly to 3rd seed Ewen Lumsden (6-2, 3-6, 7-5). The other Semi-Final was just as tight with Jed Alexander [7] edging past Marcus Walters [2] (1-6, 6-3, 6-4). Ewen and Jed will meet after the Womens Final no earlier than 1:30pm in a match that will be streamed live on our YouTube Channel.
