Day 1 of the Giffnock Open saw the first 2 rounds of the Giffnock Open Mens Qualifying.

Top Seed in Qualifying Mason Dace overcame Giffnock's own Callum McGinn to reach the final round where he will be hoping to take one of the 4 places available for entry into the Main Draw. Dace will take on 6th Seed Lucas Ebert today from 16:30.

Other matches in the final round hoping to secure their place today are Luke Wilson vs Roy Keegan, Nathan Mansfield vs Jed McMillan and Matthew Upton [4] vs Finn Reilly.
